Elsa Bonstein has been writing feature articles and a golf column (Golf Gab) for the Brunswick Beacon since moving to North Carolina in 2000. She is also a correspondent for Carolinas Green, the magazine of the Carolinas Golf Course Superintendents Association.

2005 Landmark Community Newspapers: 2nd Place Best News or Feature Story Series Weekly. (I wrote a series on Hospice care where I shadowed a dying man for the last six weeks of his life, juxtaposing that with his life story as a WWII Veteran.)
